Another interesting development is the price action of the Russell 2000, the next biggest index in the U.S. after the Dow, SP500 and the Nasdaq. The Russell 2000 has made a new 52 week closing high, an indication of strength. There has been concern for some time that this market rally does not have breadth, or in other words, it is being dominated by a handful of stocks. Perhaps this is changing. See the chart below.
