Merry Christmas to you all.
In early December the question was asked, will we get a Christmas rally? Santa did not let us down and the markets have been on a tear for a few weeks now. Rather than repeat myself here I have posted an extra long comments section on my 52 week high page and you can access all that info here.

Being a Zen priest and considering it is Christmas, I can't let you off without a spiritual (more so than religious) story. Its about hard work. Traders and Investors know how hard at times this game is, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually, so here is one that will make you smile.
There is a Buddhist story about an old monk that lived in a monastery. The other monks became concerned about his health and implored him to stop working in the fields.
He refused, kept working and replied "a day without work is a day without food"
The younger monks persisted and hid his tools - shovel, hoe and baskets.
The old monk responded by going on a hunger strike saying "a day without work is a day without food"
After a long stand off and the old monk becoming more frail, the young monks relented and returned his tools. He then happily returned to the fields.
Now, in many Buddhist monasteries all around the world, hanging above the doorways can be seen the sign
"a day without work is a day without food!"
I mentioned in my previous emails I would be focusing more on mindset and psychology. If you are interested in that part of your trading and personal development, particularly trusting intuition and not being blind sided by over thinking, I encourage you to start by reading the Zen Trader. I would like to thank all those that have already purchased the book and the reviews the book received, it's currently tracking at 4.3 stars out of 5 on Amazon. I have posted a link below to the review page and also a recent review here from Amazon in India, where it was recently released.
"I would say that this is perhaps one of the best books that I have ever read. Not just from a trading perspective, but in general, this book can truly transform you. For those who have got their spiritual calling, this book will help you in accelerating on your path and at the same time see the same effect in your trading career. Highly recommend it for those who are in search of consistency in their trading"

Have a great holiday break and remember, a wise person once said - you can choose your friends but not your family :)
Until next year!
